Pam Geiger’s longstanding role as an esteemed fashion and beauty stylist began years before she ever coiffed Jacqueline Kennedy, Cheryl Tiegs or Christie Brinkley.  Long before working with Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel, Bill King, Hiro, Neil Barr and Irving Penn, Pam was in front of the mirror in her childhood home in Lexington, Massachusetts, fretting over her own evolving adolescent look and experimenting with ways to improve them.  She learned early on how to maximize her assets, conceal what she perceived to be flaws, and to put her best face forward—which, is, after all, what we all want. When a friend told her that in hairdressing school she could learn how to ‘style her hair to fit her face,’ she was hooked.

Pam began working as a professional hairstylist in Boston, but before long found herself in New York at the legendary Kenneth Salon, where her clients were  bold-faced names from society, fashion and entertainment.  Her reputation led to offers of work from Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar where she styled hair and makeup for cover stories and far-flung fashion shoots that took her from the beaches of the Côte d’Azur to the exotic reaches of distant Africa.

Pam has also styled photo shoots for all the major cosmetic companies, including Revlon, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Cover Girl and Maybelline.  She has worked for such fashion designers as Prada, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and Vera Wang, enhancing their presentations with perfect hair and makeup–and starting a few trends of her own in the process (magazine beauty editors are among the front-row journalists chronicling “the new”).

Pam’s amiable personality and professionalism has endeared her to renowned celebrities and personalities who enlist her help to put “their best face forward” when appearing on talk shows, attending film publicity and red carpet events, or when being photographed for magazines and press shoots.

Brides trust Pam on their big day, many of New York’s busiest socialites wouldn’t step foot into a black-tie gala without her help, and dedicated clients count their years with Pam in the decades.  One of them sums it up this way:  Pam’s skills are without parallel; she instinctively knows how to bring out my best attributes.  She allows me to feel like the fearless, polished New Yorker I always wanted to be when I was growing up—and with her help, that is all the world sees.”
